Michael Martinez

Michael is the co-owner, managing editor, and one of the Seattle Sounders writers here at Cascadia FC! Michael graduated from the University of Oregon in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Journalism. After stints in the Esports arena, Michael transitioned into the sports realm, covering the Vancouver Whitecaps for Cascadia Sports Network (later renamed Cascadia FC after Michael and Charlie took over) in 2020, and has since covered the Seattle Sounders.

Michael is an absolute sicko and spends most of his days watching different football matches from various leagues around the world. He is a massive Manchester City and Seattle Sounders fan, and in his eyes, he bleeds blue and rave green. If he's not glued to his phone, laptop, or TV watching the beautiful game, he is spending time with his wife Anna and his dog Parker.
